The Boy Who Holds A World Record

The Boy Who Holds A World Record

Master Shasvanth M.A was diagnosed with diabetes when he was just two years old. A small infant being diagnosed with diabetes was a nightmare for the entire family, as no one in the family had diabetes. Reaching his milestones, adequate growth, and sustenance as a growing youngster was a significant hardship for the parents. Identifying his hypos and hypers of blood sugar levels was also a big challenge for his parents. Monitoring his sugar levels on a regular basis and depriving him of his favorite meals was discouraging for them as well. However, Shasvanth’s parents were prepared to embrace and overcome these challenges. They prepared him to face his problems and go fearlessly through this thorny and stone-filled route.

This tiny champ has been trained in Silambam (an Indian Martial Art) and can rotate this bamboo stick for an hour without losing it, setting a world record at the age of four. As a result, nothing is impossible for a youngster with type 1 diabetes.
