About Pharmacy
The main aim of the pharmacy in the Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialties Centre is delivery of authentic drugs to the patients at home. We are committed to accurate prescription delivery, follow up and review of medications to optimize patient outcomes. The pharmacy in the hospital will function around the clock throughout the year for dispensing medicines for inpatients and outpatients to provide high quality pharmaceutical care. At the clinics the working hours are that of the clinic between 7am to 4pm.
Medicines are procured from companies that match our standards in quality. These include standard companies with good credentials to prevent spurious drugs.
The pharmacists do the dispensing at the pharmacy counters after carefully checking the medicines individually with the prescription.
A dedicated billing and dispensing counter handle the medicine requirements of special ward patients. A team of pharmacists and support personnel handle online prescriptions received at this counter.
Our pharmacists in Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialties Centre is well trained to educate both the patients and other healthcare professionals about the safe and effective use of the medicines in the hospital.
